In industrial production, the reasonable selection of refractory materials directly affects the operating efficiency of equipment. Shaped refractory materials are suitable for the long-term masonry of the main structure of equipment, especially for furnace and kiln parts with stable working conditions and regular structures, such as the masonry around the water-cooled walls of blast furnaces. Unshaped refractory materials are more suitable for scenarios involving irregular structures, temporary repairs, and the need for overall anti-seepage, such as the pouring of blast furnace tapholes and the spray repair of damaged furnace doors. When selecting materials, it is necessary to consider the operating temperature of the equipment, the corrosiveness of the medium, and the structural characteristics. When necessary, a matching scheme of "shaped materials as the main body and unshaped materials as supplements" should be adopted to maximize the service life of furnaces and kilns.
