In recent years, unshaped refractory materials, with their advantages of flexible construction and good integrity, have been continuously increasing their application proportion in the industrial field. Compared with traditional shaped refractory materials, unshaped refractory materials do not need to be pre-formed and can be directly poured or sprayed on site, which greatly shortens the construction period. They are especially suitable for the lining construction and damage repair of equipment such as steel rolling heating furnaces and cement rotary kilns. New-generation products such as low-cement refractory castables and self-flowing materials have achieved breakthroughs in high-temperature resistance, wear resistance and thermal shock resistance by optimizing the aggregate ratio. After a 300t ladle in a steel plant was lined with high-purity aluminum-magnesium castables, its service life can reach more than 260 times, significantly reducing production costs.
